Dr. Jooho Lee completed his Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto followed by his Doctor of Medicine degree at Western University in London, Ontario. He then completed residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Western University. During his clinical training, he also conducted patient centered research and published peer reviewed manuscripts under the supervision of internationally recognized leaders in lipid and adrenal disorders. Dr. Jooho has received numerous awards for his works including the John Dupré Award for best presentation at the Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism conference. His special interests include lipid disorders, obesity, and diabetes, in addition to general endocrinology.
Dr. Jooho has a passion for education of both patients and medical students. He was Chief Resident for the Endocrinology program at Western University, and prior to moving to Calgary, he was an adjunct professor of Internal Medicine at Western University.
In his free time, Dr. Jooho enjoys hiking and thinking about how technology can help patients and doctors in health care.
